"T" is for Topper

Christmas tree topper just in time!

My kids kept asking for a star on the top of our tree so in keeping with the rolled paper theme I made this one:

Similar to the wreath:

And banner:

Here's how I made the topper:

1. Cut a cardboard tube about 6" and staple shut one end:

2. Prepare paper rolls.  Using old paperback books tear pages in half:

3. Roll into cone shape and hot glue:

4. Make lots of paper rolls:

5. Start gluing rolls to tube in circular star shape:

6. Brush ends with white glue:

7. Sprinkle on glitter and shake off excess.
Ready.
The tree has been topped and now we wait impatiently wait for Santa.

From the side:

Merry Christmas.
