Rye, New York handpainted ornaments.
Two ways.
Just in time for the Christmas Fair.
Here's how I made the ornaments:
1. Use precut oval wood shapes:
2. Paint two coats Behr cozy cottage, sand rough edges.
Print out lettering to fit shape.
Line up wood shape under paper and trace letters with ballpoint pen to create indent in wood.
3. Paint on and inside the indent:
4. Drill two holes for twine using 7/16" bit:
5. Stain using Minwax provincial:
6. Seal with clear acrylic:
7. Prepare berry decoration.
Use faux greens, berries and red ribbon:
8. Tie into a little bundle:
9. Thread twine through holes and knot.
Hot glue berries in between twine knots.
Trim ribbon ends.
10. Ready for the tree:
