"S" is for Scavenger

 A Christmas Scavenger Hunt for kids.

A fun activity for all the cousins to keep them from running around the house totally crazy.

I had to make it easy because the kids range from 3 to 8 years old.

I filled the personalized tin pails I had made with prizes, each pail had a different prize (enough for all kids).

Some stickers, lip balm, tattoos, cool pens, some candy, a cute toy.

Then I tied the clues onto little packages (used as a centerpiece for the kids table).  The clues lead to different hiding places in our house and I made sure to order the clues so the kids would have to go up and down stairs multiple times to wear them out :)

Each clue was then placed into a pail on top of the prizes.  I also ordered the pails so the older kids names were first as they would be carrying the pails around the house for awhile.

The final clue leads to the youngest cousin who is only 4 months old and she holds the biggest prize.

Once the game is over and they have collected all their pails they will have to distribute the prizes amongst each other (without fighting), we'll see how that goes.

Here's hoping I hide the pails in all the right places in the right order!
