"S" is for Signage

Handpainted Holiday Boutique signage.

A fun, festive, informative sign.

Two plywood boards hinged together and some paint.

Yes I will be at this show selling some items, more on that in a later post.

Here's how I made the sign:

1. Print out letters to size and lay out on board:
(The board is 2 pieces of plywood hinged together at the top.)

2. Paint border.
Trace letters with ballpoint pen to leave indent in wood, paint inside indent:

3. Repeat process for all wording:

4. Add green accents lines and dots:
Seal with clear acrylic.

Ready to place roadside.

One done, three more to go!  Yes I'll be painting all weekend.
