"B" is for Buttons

Buttons clogging up the bottom of your post?

Does it look like this?

The Lettered CottagePhotobucket

Looking for a neater, more organized way to display those buttons?

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for generating traffic and promoting the linky parties BUT.....

The Lettered CottagePhotobucket
doesn't that look better?
And it takes up about 1/4 of the space.

(Layla, Jamielyn and Sarah please, please don't be mad that I used your buttons for this example.)

Lately I've been getting a lot of emails asking how do I make my buttons shrink down on the bottom of my posts?

Here's how:
1. Copy the button as usual into your post.
2. Open the 'Edit HTML' tab to see the button as code.
3. Find the code for the particular button.
4. Go to the end of the code (either png" or jpg").
5. Immediately after the " add the following: height="100"width="100".

Go back to the 'Compose' tab to make sure it worked, normally I use 60x60 on my posts but the buttons above are 100x100.

A little shout out to Carolyn over at homework who sent me the instructions a while back, thank you!

I understand bloggers spend hours and hours (and sometimes dollars and dollars) to make their buttons a specific shape and size and I don't want to undermine your blogging efforts but I do like a clean looking post.

Therefore I'm hoping I didn't offend anyone who has those really wonky sized buttons, I'm happy to include your button on my post but I like to keep it neat and tidy.

Good luck shrinking the buttons.
Make them mini!
