"P" is for Pink

In honor of the Pantone color of the year - honeysuckle - we held a pink party just for kicks.

I sent the kids hunting all over the house to find everything close in color to honeysuckle pink to dress up our party.
(A week off from school over Christmas and there's lots of time to kill.)

Even baby Daisy joined in her new doll high chair.

We made a cake:

The girls loved dressing up the table:

We collected everything; jewelry, fabric, pencils, straws, candles, napkins, a wire basket, plates, cupcake liners, and on and on.

It was a fun way to spend the morning and show some honeysuckle love.
My girls were so excited and loved being a part of the collecting, creating and organizing process.  I love that they have an interest in these things, it's true the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
